Rock Festival

The international rock music festival ROCKIN' TRANSILVANIA OPEN AIR, will celebrate its third edition, from June 18-20 2010, on Platoul Inima Reginei festival ground, at the foot of Bran Castle. Alongside with high quality music by artists from Romania and abroad, the festival will offer various distractions and attractions, including culinary ones, and will be an excellent occasion to spend a charming weekend in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains, in the beautiful holiday resort of Bran. Artists: Axxis (Germany), Alight (Italy), Contradiction (Germany), Firefly (Netherlands), Handful Of Rain (Spain), In Slumber (Austria) and many more.

Within this festival, there will also be the Romanian final of the music contest W:O:A Metal Battle Romania 2010. The following bands have qualified for this final: Altar, Bucium, Dirty Shirt, Guerrillas, Nexus and Pillfed. At this contest, an international jury will select one band which will represent Romania this year at the international final contest W:O:A Metal Battle, taking place in Germany, in August, at one of the world's biggest open air rock festivals, Wacken Open Air (about 80.000 spectators each year).
