 How to reach BRAN - MOECIU?

At only 25 - 30 km from Brasov, on DN 73, Bran reveals a fully developing touristic area which tends to become an important area for the rural, ecological and cultural tourism.

Located at the entry in the Rucar - Bran corridor, on the commercial road connecting since the oldest times Brasov to Campulung, Bran area comprises the following communes:
Bran, with the villages Poarta, Simon, Predelut and Sohodol.
Moeciu, with the villages Moeciu de Jos and Moeciu de Sus, Cheia, Pestera.
Fundata, with the villages Fundatica, Drumul Carului and Siruca.

BRAN Castle is situates in a key point, between the Bucegi Mountains and Piatra Craiului Mountains, at 30 km from the city of Brasov, and it is one of the most important historical monuments due to both the beauty and wild nature of the scenery and the legend of Count Dracula, kept alive for so many centuries, the Vampire Count thus maintaining his immortality.
 By car:

From Bucharest, taking DN1 (2h 30min - 168 km) to Brasov, and from Brasov, DN73 in the direction of Pitesti (30min - 30 km).

 By bus:

Bus terminal No. 2 Brasov provides regular rides between Brasov and Bran - Moeciu and return trips, with departures at every 30min – at sharp and half hours, and at every hour during weekends. The price per ticket is of RON 5 ( EUR 1.2).
