Discreetly located at the base of Bran Castle, the Casa de Ceai Restaurant attracts with its tranquility and refinement.

We invite you to enjoy local dishes and selected teas in a setting worthy of a story, where nature and tradition meet. It is the perfect place for fairy-tale meals and nights of lively discussions, sprinkled with savory aromas.

Access to the Castle Restaurant is daily, between 09:00 and 20:00 (Tuesday-Sunday), and on Mondays between 12:00 and 20:00, and does not require the purchase of a visiting ticket.

The tea house today measures around 180 square meters, with 2 rooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Since 1934, the building has been equipped with running water and electricity. Since the kitchen, at that time, was located in the castle, a funicular was installed, over a distance of approximately 200 meters. The cabin, which did not exceed 1 cubic meter, transported the food and drinks that were to be served during the receptions.


Out of respect for the Queen and for tradition, the Tea House continues to have the same purpose, and in 2016, it was restored, transformed into a restaurant with local dishes and selected teas.
